Ciliegiolo is a traditional though rarely seen Ligurian red grape. This is either a red that drinks a bit like a rosé, or a rosé that drinks a bit like a red. Tons of cherry and red berries, tangy acidity, hint of tannins.
Hand-harvested Concejon (Moristel) from a 90-100 year-old vineyard of 3.14 ha, aged 12 months in American & French oak. Full-bodied, with sour-cherry notes, dark plums, cocoa, tobacco, sweet tannins. Have w/ red meat, hard cheeses, serrano ham, olives.
