90% Syrah/10% Carignan from vines aging in range from 40 years to over 100, fermented 1/2 whole cluster with carbonic, 1/2 destemmed & with skins. Smooth, easy, ripe, & peppery.
5th generation producer in the south of France. Much of this 100ha property was originally pond & swampland that was filled in. Now the vines go deep through schist to seek water in the blue clay. This cab is rich, smooth, & satisfying.
Organically farmed Syrah & Grenache, destemmed & fermented in concrete, then aged 5 months in tank before bottling. Blackberry, plums, cassis, with a touch of flowers and hillside herbs.
Organic, hand-harvested Duras from Gaillac. A swirl of savory, spicy, & earthy around a core of purple & blue fruit, cassis, & plums. Balanced, enticing, delicious.
Del Mono (from the monkey) is a delicious bang-for-the-buck wine. It’s super easy, ripe and creamy, brambly and chocolatey, a touch of black pepper and earthy minerality balances all that decadence.
A field-blend of hand-harvested Welschriesling, Riesling, Chardonnay, Furmint, Pinot Blanc & other white grapes fermented in stainless steel. Fresh, light, & fruity, with crisp apples & floral aromatics.
