Eugenio Gatti is the seventh-generation viticulturist to tend to this estate nestled within the original castle of Castagnole Monferrato. The castle was constructed in the 11th century and retrofitted to serve as a cellar in the 1400s.
Fumin & Petit Rouge fermented in stainless & wood, followed by 8 months in oak. Raspberry, almonds, roses, cloves on the nose; iron, bramble, oily herbs, rustic yet elegant. Balanced, touch of grip, will cut thru fat or pair w/beans & tomatoes, salads.
