Belisario is a cooperative with organically farmed, high-altitude vineyards located the Alta Elsina valley. Le Salse refers to the underground salt springs located throughout the town of Matelica in Italy's central region of Marche. This 100% Verdicchio is from vines grown at 450m altitude on limestone and clay, fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts from the vineyard. It's deliciously salty and fruity, with notes of pear skin, tangerine, green apple with a texture that walks the line between brisk and creamy. It's a crowd pleaser.
