Product description
Thevenet is a 3rd generation family operation in the Maconnais village of Pierreclos; established in 1952 with just 3 hectares, it’s now over 30 hectares. Jean-Claude Thevenet was at the helm of this property from 1971 when he took it over from his father, to 2008, when he passed away too young at 54. Since then his wife Helene and their three sons: Benjamin, Jonathan, and Aurélien have carried on the family tradition of creating honest, simply-made, delicious wine. The Thevenets work their own vineyards and also operate a nursery where they grow high quality grape vines for family owned domaines in Burgundy and Champagne. They farm sustainably and with respect for the environment.
