La MIraja Ruche' Castagnole Monferrato 2023 750mL

Eugenio Gatti is the seventh-generation viticulturist to tend to this estate nestled within the original castle of Castagnole Monferrato. The castle was constructed in the 11th century and retrofitted to serve as a cellar in the 1400s.

Production here is tiny, just 840 cases annually, and only recently available outside of the Piedmont area. Gatti tends to the oldest plot of Ruché, Maioli, planted in 1972.
