Production here is tiny, just 840 cases annually, and only recently available outside of the Piedmont area. Gatti tends to the oldest plot of Ruché, Maioli, planted in 1972. This rustic, aromatic red has soft tannins and medium acidity, with notes of dried flowers, wild berries, and black pepper.
