The grapes for this wine come from a single hectare of 25 year old vines grown in the coastal area of Quilaco, in Chile, from a husband and wife winemaking team who were on the Pipeño wagon before Pipeño was cool… This wine is 100% Moscatel, that’s destemmed and goes through 2 weeks fermentation followed by one week of macerating on the skins, then it rests in stainless steel for two months, followed by 3-4 months in French oak. It’s bottled unfiltered, unfined, and with very little SO2. Only 125 cases produced.
