Le Clos de l'Amandier is a monopole of the estate located at the south-eastern end of the Poncié climate.
Soil: Mixture of granitic sand and shallow, stony clay. Granitic parent rock.
Location: Located at the foot of the Poncié climat. A magnificent plot with a steep slope (approx. 25-30%) of 75 ares for 200 m of lengths.
Orientation: South to South West from 280 to 395 m altitude.
Vineyard management: Gobelets on half of the plot and cordons on the rest.
Age of vines: 15 to 30 years
Vinification: Maceration of 15 days in whole bunches carried out in concrete vats of 60 Hl. Temperatures maintained below 30 ° C. A grilled tank is employed to immerse the cap during the maceration. Pumping over at the end of maceration to prolong fermentation.
Aging: 8 months in foudre and 4th and 5th use barrels (15%).
