This Pinot Noir is from two very different plots of land: Champ l’Huillier (.6ha) & Montpoulains (.2ha). Champ l’Huillier is in Corpeau, in the plains just below Puligny-Montrachet, with a fair amount of topsoil and a lot of clay, which contributes to a fruity character. Montpoulains is in the plains of Volnay, with vines over 40 years old, contributing structure and complexity.
