Fabien Cazé farms by hand, organically, just a few hectares of vines in the villages of Châtillon-Sur-Marne and Vandières, ferments in barrels using only native yeasts, and gives all three Champagne grapes their own cuvée.
Producer's note: The tradition is long and the history is strong. They deserve to be told ... Shaped over the centuries by 10 generations of winegrowers, Maison Cazé-Thibaut has seen the birth of men and women, all devoted to their land and to their profession in the beautiful Marne Valley. Roger Cazé was the first to market bottles of Champagne. A fine winemaker, his fame was such that he worked for the winegrowers of the surrounding villages as well as for the Champagne Cazé which he created in 1953. Within the Maison Cazé, the works follow one another, complement each other but never contradict each other. Today, Fabien continues this work of passion to create precise and elegant wines in which the notion of terroir is obviously essential.
